Smet Advantage

When long term Brown County Employer APAC Customer Services was looking to relocate out of the area Smet Construction Services stepped in to offer our full array of services and sought to keep those jobs in the area.  Smet obtained (on APAC’s behalf) incentives, assisted in a site search, and ended up buying the 2^nd floor of the Baylake City Center building in downtown Green Bay to lease to APAC.  We then proceeded with the exclusive full design and construction of a 70,000 square foot facility with our “Smet hybrid” Design/Build  technique combined with our Construction Management delivery system. The entire package was coordinated by Smet including over 800 miles of data cable and workstations, etc. for 1,200 employees.

APAC Management around the county was also kept up to date on the project’s progress via our private customer website log-in area.  This reduced the number of trips made to Green Bay by APAC Management yet enabling them to stay in touch throughout the construction process.
