Smet Construction Services Corp. hosted a number of Cub Scouts at the “Back Stage at the Meyer” project site on Monday evening, April 16, 2015. The young men were pursuing their Engineering Badge. Rick Fisher, Fisher and Associates, LLC, and Jim Hebel, site manager at Smet, educated the Scouts in regards to the engineer’s educational background, career objectives, and practical experiences. The involvement of youth training programs at Smet are a continued effort towards gathering interest of the youth into the construction trades.
