Fox Communities Credit Union broke ground on its newest facility on September 18, 2013. The new facility, at the southeast corner of Military and Western Avenues represents continuing development in the Military Avenue business corridor. This represents a new location for the credit union which has 15 other locations from Green Bay to Oshkosh.
Smet Construction Services is proud to serve as the construction management firm for the new facility. According to Fox Communities President, Greg Hilbert, “This isn’t the first building that Smet has constructed for us. Their attention to detail and execution was excellent on the Howard project and we are excited to be working with Smet again to bring our customers a state-of-art facility.”
Jamie Blom, with Smet, pulled the project together, said “Fox Communities are great people to work with. We’ve enjoyed working with them in the past and appreciate them giving us this opportunity to continue building their prototype. We look forward to continuing our relationship and helping Fox Communities to grow their brand in northeast Wisconsin.”
The building will provide an accessible drive-thru, a drive up ATM, and the lobby will be designed so the staff can easily interact with members allowing for personalized service. Gries Architectural Group is the architect for the project. Fox Communities anticipates opening the new branch in early 2014.
