Smet Honored with Green Bay Area Exchange Club Community Involvement Award

The Green Bay Area Exchange Club recently presented Smet Construction Services Corp. (Smet) with the club’s 2013 community involvement award, the “Book of Golden Deeds”.  The Green Bay Area Exchange Club is a service organization whose main missions are the prevention of child abuse, supporting patriotism and community improvement. The award banquet took place on Wednesday, September 25, at Thornberry Creek at Oneida, Hobart, WI.  Smet was nominated by club members, Bob and Maggie Fisher, for its continued and growing commitment to many area events and community causes.   Bob Fisher presented Paul Belschner,  Smet Vice President and CFO, with the award.    “Smet is being honored not only for making our community more beautiful and economically more viable, but for the vast amount of charity and community support they sponsor” said Fisher.   As a part of Smet’s giving back to the community a donation was made by Smet to the club.   In accepting the award Belschner went on to say, “Smet is proud of its community involvement and its community.  Most importantly Smet is proud of its team members and their community involvement.
